EVERYONE HAS BAD DAYS.

and today was definitely mine. i thought i was going to have a good one since i woke up extra early (5am early to be exact) to take a morning run. i ran and walked for a good hour and a half until i had to get back home to get ready for class. marketing was a breeze. mid-term reviews and unexpectedly finding out i had an F in the class? i'm definitely going to handle that soon because i'm almost positive missing 2 assignments out of 27 can't bring me all the way down to a 51.6%. did the usual panera date with o'nelly and iliana. talked talked and talked. got to my math class and finished the mid-term problems before class even started so i was out of there in a jiffy. stopped by work to pick up some grub then headed home. got into a bit of a scuffle with a FORMER friend. and i'm definitely not in the mood to discuss it again. did some homework, studied a bit, downloaded 600 new songs and full albums (including the adele 19 album!) to my iphone. thanks robert! environmental science class was a mess.. we did a mid-term review through jeopardy and i probably knew 5/35 questions. i have a LOT of studying to do before thursday. :(

anyway, the main reason for this blog (or rant if you want to call it that) was: i actually had an instant turnaround when these girls made a small comment to me about an hour ago. there's a group of them that stand outside my class before it starts. a group of 6. probably first term students too. and they always stare me down when i walk into the room. so today, being the moody bitch i am, asked them if i could "help them with something." and they all frantically start talking over each other and finally one girl says, "we seriously wait here every tuesday and thursday night just to see what you're wearing.. you are so fucking cute."

i feel really self-absorbed even bringing this up, but sometimes it takes something THAT small to make your whole day turn around. so.. lesson of the day?

small gestures go a long way.
